Skyline Gondola Queenstown

Where better than to enjoy stunning views of Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu and the Southern Alps than from to the of the Skyline Gondola?  Marvel at the deep blue of the lake and snow top mountains as you ascend the gondola.

If you’re after something a little more adventurous, take in the views as you zip down the mountain on the Luge, paraglide back to town or choose from one of the 27 world-class mountain biking trails.

Kiwi Birdlife Park

The Kiwi Birdlife Park is moments away from Brown’s Boutique Hotel, right near Skyline Gondola. See New Zealand’s most famous native bird, the Kiwi. and view other native species including the Morepork, Kakariki and Antipodes Island Parakeet up close as you wander through the park.

Make the most of your time with an audio tour or attend one of the daily animal shows and talks where you’ll be able to feed the birds and encounter Tuatara’s.

TSS Earnslaw Vintage Steamship

If heights isn’t your thing, but you still want to get amongst Queenstown’s stunning scenery, a trip on the historic TSS Earnslaw Vintage Steamship is a relaxing excursion.  View the Remarkable Mountain Range as you approach the station and see Queenstown from the water as you return to town.

The 90 minute trip departs from Central Queenstown and steams up Lake Wakatipu to Walter Peak High Country Farm where you can also enjoy a guided farm tour or take part in a horse trek.  The TSS Earnslaw departure point is an easy 5 minute walk from Browns Boutique Hotel and we would be delighted to book tickets on your behalf.
